 Detergents – Liquid detergents for textiles washing

Consistent with the policies of Jordan Standards and Metrology Organization of preparation and amendment of Jordanian Technical Regulations/ Standards to comply with International Standards and keep abreast of scientific developments, the permanent committee for Detergents has studied and amended the Jordanian Technical Regulation No. 731:2009 of  Detergents – Liquid detergents for textiles washing, and made the following amendments :

1- The approved references are:

  The Egyptian standard 4157:2003.

  The Jordanian standard 199:2005.

2-  Classify the liquid detergents into tow types:

  Type 1 : liquid cleaner used for washing textile made from  synthetic, cotton and lint fibers.

  Type 2 : liquid cleaner used for washing textile made from sensitive fibers such as wool and silk, and textile with dark color.

3-  Technical requirement of the product:

Parties who participated in the amendment of this Jordanian Technical Regulation:

 -  Jordan Industry chamber.

 -  Jordan University.

 -  Ministry Of Health/ Environment Health Directorate.

 -  Ministry Of Industry & Trade.

 -  Jordan Armed Forces/ Military Laboratories for Quality Control.

 -  Vocational Training Corporation.
